Books for Babies Kit Contents

Books for Babies packets containing appropriate materials for parents and baby are available from FOLUSA. Each packet includes the following items, assembled in an attractive plastic bag:

• Babies Love Books, A guide for grown-ups, a delightful full-color, multicultural booklet about you can read to your children anytime, anyplace.
• Books for Babies full-color brochure with reading tips.
• Baby's First Book -- Happy Baby -- a sturdy board book valued at $4.99. There are four titles in the series and each kit contains one book in the series. Specific titles cannot be selected and all orders are random.
• A bookmark with tips on reading to babies.
• Raising a Reader, Raising a Writer, a booklet from the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
• Baby's First Library Card -- to be taken to your library to exchange for the real thing.
• An optional bib with the Books for Babies logo.

Local groups and libraries may include additional items to personalize the packets for their own communities.

The Spanish kit includes all materials translated into Spanish with the exception of the bib. The board book in the Spanish kit is a high-quality book for baby. Titles may vary. Please contact the FOLUSA office for more information.
